Reference Point on Television July 10th

Tuesday 5th July, 2022

We're excited to share that Reference Point will feature in a programme called 'The Digital Society' to be broadcast on Sky later this month. The programme explores the ways digital technologies are transforming the modern business landscape and providing corporations with the tools they need to overcome the constellation of thorny challenges presented by a disrupted world.

The programme features insights and commentary from Tanya Morris, Business Development Director at Reference Point, and Sarah Randall, Product Manager at Reference Point. It also includes contributions from Hitachi Rail and Cyber-Duck.

The show investigates significant issues confronting today's business leaders, including:

  • How can major organisations use digital solutions to improve their workforce and learner management?
  • How can today's businesses upskill their existing workforce and leave worker churn in the past?
  • What can industry do to overcome the skills shortage?
  • What role will AI and data analytics play for organisations facing today's challenges?

Reference Point clients Network Rail and Kier also share their experience of digital transformation with Reference Point systems:

  • Guy Wilmshurst-Smith, head of Network Rail training, overviews their past issues around workforce management and why they worked with Reference Point to implement the Sentinel system.
  • Tracey Collins is head of diversity and inclusion at Kier, and she surveys the impact of Highways Passport on their work in the highways sector.

Speaking of the programme, Tanya Morris said the following:

"The Digital Society is an invaluable resource for business leaders; it examines their challenges head-on and doesn't shirk away from knotty issues. I'm proud of our contribution to the episode because I know that these are the topics leaders are discussing in boardrooms across the globe.

At Reference Point, our mantra is Future Thinking. Today. That's what we're about - we believe digital technologies can unlock new opportunities for industry and provide the toolkit needed to get ahead in an ever-more competitive world.

I hope you find the time to watch the programme. It will help you understand how innovative technologies can support you as you navigate obstacles and drive transformation across your organisation and industry."

The broadcast dates for the programme are:

  • Sunday, July 10th, 10.00 am on SKY digital channel 182
  • Sunday, August 7th, 10.00 am on SKY digital channel 182.
